No food will prevent weight loss
There is no food or food group which will prevent weight loos. There is no need to cut out a specific kind of foods during a Diet or Contest Prep. Just forget all the diet myths, the Key think is and will be a caloric deficit. One example for weight loss with an unhealthy approach:
„John Cisna weighed 280 pounds when he decided to go on the McDonald's-only diet. After 90 days, he had lost 37 pounds, and at the end of the six months, he weighed 224 pounds. Cisna limited his daily intake to 2,000 calories and exercised for 45 minutes five times a week”
Before you hit MC…… it is clear, this example is not the best overall approach for weight loss. It just illustrates how our body works. Your Body needs vitamins and minerals. It is obvious that 300 Calories of ice cream is not the same as 300 Calories of sweet potatoes.
Moreover, when you are Dieting, your hunger will increase. Just compare 500 calories of potatoes with 500 calories of Brownies. Which woll be more saturating? Key point here: Eat high volume foods, low in calories and high in mass. NO-GO during a Diet: Don’t drink calories.
